Volunteer Programs for At-Risk youth
In addition to our paid services, we run volunteer programs aimed at supporting at-risk youth!
Voluntary Gift Exchange
Our voluntary gift program for at-risk teens encourages community engagement and literacy skills, a gift exchange that rewards their effots and promotes a sense of giving and community spirit
Enrichment Reading Group
We're Organize enrichment reading groups for youth ages 7-10 to enhance their reading and comprehension skills! Discussing stories and books, reading together & activities
Teen Internship Opportunities
Our Teen Internship Program offers teens hands-on experience in caregiving, allowing them to work alongside IHSS workers while gaining valuable experience, mentorship, and exposure to their chosen field. This opportunity not only enhances their academic knowledge but also helps them build practical skills, all while contributing to the well-being of those in need.

THE FOUNDER
Who am I? I am the parent of a child whom was murdered due to a senseless act of violence. Turning a tragedy into a blessing I made a decision to become a foster parent, so I relocated away from the city, and moved to Silverlake's Ca, only to be lead to create the Community Kids Workers. Our focus is to give teens hope by leading by example.
